A delay can also be an opportunity, while the Cooksley Memorial maybe pushed out until early next year, you now have a chance to enjoy a cracker of a race out across Dunedin’s own Otago Peninsula on Sunday the 26th of November.  With Dunedin CC planning major improvements next year of arguably the most popular cycling road in Otago with the Peninsula Connection upgrade, it is a great time to get in a race before three years of road works start.

With a course from Vauxhall to the Taioroa Head and then back to Portobello before turning off for a scenic ride over the High Road and finishing at Rotary Park, it promises to be an enjoyable and rewarding event.

Not to be outdone, the Juniors will have a challenging 20km race from The Happy Hens in Portobello out to Harrington Point and then return back to Portobello.
