Celebrate the passing of mid winter and the (gradual) return to race fitness with the Cycling Otago Winter Worlds Series.<\/p>\n

Event Details<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Four Sunday races on different circuits, graded mass start with usual race Categories & approximate distances.<\/p>\n

Race 1:<\/strong> July 14th. Course: Woodside circuit 10.3 km laps. Sign on at Outram Rugby Club.<\/p>\n

Cat’s 1 and 2 = 4 laps (41.2km), Cat 3\/4 = 3 laps (30.9km), Juniors = 1 lap (10.3km)<\/p>\n

Race 2:<\/strong> July 28th. Course: Fortex circuit 6.0 km laps. Sign on at the corner of Dukes Road North and Hazlett Road (TBC).<\/p>\n

Cat’s 1 and 2 = 7 laps (42km), Cat 3\/4 = 5 laps (30km), Juniors = 2 lap (12km)<\/p>\n

Race 3:<\/strong> August 11th. Course: By popular demand, a part SAMs circuit of\u00a013.3km with two gravel sections per lap (Tree Road 1.5km and Church Road 1.35km).\u00a0\u00a0Sign on and briefing at Outram Rugby Club and then roll down to the start line.<\/p>\n

Cat’s 1 and 2 = 4 laps (53.2km), Cat 3\/4 = 3 laps (39.9km), Juniors = 1 lap (13.3km)<\/p>\n

Race 4:<\/strong> August 18th: Course: Salisbury (MNR) Circuit plus a little bit of a hill to finish with.\u00a0\u00a0Sign on and briefing at the church (the old MNR start finish location)<\/p>\n

Cat 1 = 7 laps (40.0km), Cat 2 = 6 laps (34.6km), Cat 3 = 5 laps (29.2km), Cat 4 = 4 laps (23.8km), Cat 5 = 3 laps (18.4km), Juniors = 2 lap (10.8km – finish on the flat).\u00a0 Note: some Categories maybe merged depending on numbers.<\/p>\n

Timings:<\/strong> Sign on from 11.15am for 12.00pm start. Compulsory briefing at 11.50am.<\/p>\n

Entry:<\/strong> $10 Members, $15 Non-Members.<\/p>\n

U13, U15, U17 in Cat 4 & 5 and Junior race Free.<\/p>\n
