Cycling Otago Club Champs Road and Time trial. Saturday and Sunday 7th-8th April 2018

Road Race Results:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A hardy group of riders turned out in cool and breezy conditions to contest the club champs road race on the Berwick Circuit. Following pre-race discussion, the male masters 3 and 4 categories raced 4 laps alongside the elite, u19 and m1 fields. Line honours across the four distances contested went to:<\/p>\n

1 Lap:<\/span> Mackenzie Bains (F). Sam Hughes (M)<\/p>\n

2 Lap:<\/span> Neil O’Fee<\/p>\n

3 Lap:<\/span> Becky Kerr<\/p>\n

4 Lap:<\/span> Justin Stott<\/p>\n

      Price:<\/b> $10 Members, $15 Non Members<\/span><\/p>\n

      Format<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

      Mass starts for Women, Men, and Juniors with different distances per CNZ age group. Only paid Club Members can contest placings.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      Proposed Distances:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

      Juniors* <\/b>(U15, U13 Boys and Girls combined) 1-2 laps depending on Age categories (Approx. 18.5-37km)<\/span><\/p>\n

      *U13, U15, U17 must use restricted gears:<\/p>\n

      U13: 5.6m, U15: 6m, U17: 7m.<\/p>\n

      Women<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>\n

      3 Laps (approx. 55km): U19; Elite; M1,2,3<\/span><\/p>\n

      2 laps (approx. 37km): U17, M4+<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      Men<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>\n

      4 Laps (approx. 73km): U19; Elite; M1-2<\/span><\/p>\n

      3 laps (approx. 55km): U17, M3-4<\/span><\/p>\n

      2 laps (approx. 37km): M5+<\/span><\/p>\n

      Price:<\/b> $10 Members, $15 Non CO Members<\/span><\/p>\n

      Distances:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

      25 km: <\/b>U19, U23, Elite, Men Masters 1 to 5, Women Masters 1 to 3. Course turns at the bottom of the Berwick Hill.

      15 km:<\/b> U15, U17, Men Masters 6 to 8, Women Masters 4 to 7. Turn around at 7.5km.
